What do I need to do before Waxing?

Please arrive for your appointment clean and showered It's best to shower at your before arriving for the treatment as if you shower at my studio the wax sometimes will not stick so well to the damp hair. Shower and lightly exfoliate the entire area right before your appointment using warm, not hot water. For more information on exfoliation please give me a call.  You are very welcome to shower after your treatment.

How long should my hair be before I have a waxing treatment?

Your hair should be no shorter than a grain of rice and you should leave the area about four to five weeks if you have shaved or had a waxing treatment  If the hair is a little long I can trim it for you at the appointment. 

How long will the results last and how often should I get re-waxed?

It's like going to your Barber, all guy's hair grows back differently but it will start to grow back after about 3 weeks. The more you wax the slower hair re-growth.  I would recommend that you make an appointment for 4 weeks to start with but as time goes on you may be able to have longer periods between treatments.

What if I get a Woody during intimate waxing?

I'm a professional and there to remove the hair from your body.
Seriously... during the waxing procedure, I will constantly pull the skin tight over the areas I am working this ensures the follicles are close to the skin.  Dont worry if you do get a woody, I have seen it all before and I will carry on waxing so no need to panic or get embarrassed it's a normal body reaction.

Who do I wax and why?

Well, I started as a sports massage therapist some years ago and many of my male clients were asking me if I knew anywhere they could go that was not a lady's salon.  So I trained to be a male waxing therapist.  I now have clients from all walks of life from students to bank managers to athletes to office workers to car mechanics and all other walks of life. The ages are from 18 to 60 and they all have different reasons for waxing, from improving their love life to being.

How do I know I'm in safe hands?  

I'm sure you have looked at the internet about waxing and heard stories about people being hurt by inexperienced therapists  You're in safe hands with me.!  I'm an expert male waxer (and have been trained to a very high standard) and I use the best wax on the market for guys' bodies.

Aftercare?

For 24 hrs after you've been waxed, avoid the sun, deodorant, really hot showers/baths, chlorinated pools, solariums, spas and saunas for 24 hours as these will irritate the skin. Use a dry brush after two days, then two or three times a week after, but don't go mad as this causes ingrown hairs. Keep your skin moisturised.  I will give you an aftercare note to take home with you after treatment.

Can I get waxing done and get a massage at the same time?

No, as when you get massaged oil would cause you to get blackheads. You will need to leave 24 hours between treatments

Intimate Waxing

If you're having Intimate Waxing, you'll need to be naked from the waist down to get a perfect wax, so you need to leave your modesty behind.   Please remember this is my job and my client is the most important person in my business.  I will always treat you will respect, care, dignity, and comfort in your treatment. Remember you don't go to the barbers and leave your hat on!.
